PLENUS CO., LTD. which deploys "Hotto Motto" (takeaway lunch shop) and "YAYOI” (Japanese set meal restaurant) announced that they acquired 55% of the issued shares of Miyajima Shoyu Flavor Co., Ltd. which handles OEM manufacturing of seasonings and processed foods so that it would become their wholly owned subsidiary company.
With the acquisition of this stock, PLENUS Group expects that exchanges of knowledge and technology on food production will be promoted and products with high perfection can be developed and produced in a shorter time. Furthermore, as for their overseas developments, they consider that it would be possible for their local companies to produce seasonings by themselves and can increase the competitiveness of PLENUS Group. In conclusion they determined the acquisition would contribute to the expansion of the group's performance.
