On April 27, 2018, ABC Cooking Studio Co., Ltd., which develops cooking classes in Japan and Asia, and Kintetsu Department Store (Headquarters: Osaka City) agreed with a strategic partner alliance to jointly develop the franchise business of ABC Cooking Studio.

ABC operates cooking classes for young generations of 20s and 30s and currently has 125 studios in Japan and 26 studios abroad. They propose the importance and enjoyment of homemade cuisine by offering lessons to customers in Japan and overseas. In addition, they are proposing services tailored to the needs for more customers, not bound by conventional cooking class programs to aim for a space where people can connect, join and enjoy through food.
