MANEKI FOOD (Himeji City) announced on January 21 that it will open a boxed lunch shop "Bentoya Makeki" on Taipei Station in Taiwan on October 31. According to the company, it is the first time that a Japanese station boxed lunch shop opens permanently overseas and is considering about entering other countries and regions.
Noritaka Takeda Senior Executive Managing Director said, "Japanese lunch box is vivid and colorful, it's fun to eat. I would like Bento (lunch box) to be common name in the world."
