A purchase & sales company HARD OFF CORPORATION announced on July 10 as they will establish a subsidiary that operates a reuse shop in California in August and a subsidiary company that is responsible for the franchise business.

HARD OFF established a subsidiary in Hawaii last year but  it is the first time to expand in the mainland of USA. They aim to expand 300 shops throughout USA and will open the first shop in the mainland during this year.

The subsidiary is "Eco Town USA". The capital is US $ 1 million (about 114 million yen) and  HARD OFF will make a wholly - owned investment. The sub-company is "Eco Town USA Franchising". The capital is 100 thousand dollars (about 11.4 million yen) and Eco Town USA will make a wholly-owned investment.
