McDonald's announced the plan of introducing "Mobile Order & Pay" ordering and paying on smartphone and then receiving order at shop not only in USA but also in the world including Japan. Ordering with smartphone excludes the need of cash register. Accordingly you will receive order with almost no waiting time. It is close to being introduced to Japan as well.
