ICHIBANYA which develops the curry chain "CoCo ICHIBAN " will open the first Halal corresponding shop according to Islamic teachings on the 25th in Akihabara, Tokyo.
The signboard is green rather than normal yellow and also marks Halal certification.
For the Tokyo Olympic Games in 2020, the company aims to capture visitors including Muslims, and if it goes well they will also consider overseas expansion.
