US SUBWAY franchise deployment encounters a difficulty in Vietnam
The world's largest fast food chain "Subway" in Vietnam started in 2011 is actively seeking partners for the franchise development in Vietnam, but it is difficult to expand the number of shops there.
Initially the subway planned to open 50 shops by 2015, however currently the number of shops remains at 6 in the center of Ho Chi Minh City.
The management explained that "Because it took time to understand local consumers' food culture and business customs," Indeed the Vietnamese meal is originally healthy.
In Vietnam where the proportion of obesity is also relatively low, another idea may be necessary.
